VCT is the workhorse flooring of commercial properties. Cheap, durable, and everywhere: hallways, break rooms, service corridors. But VCT only looks good when it's properly maintained. Our VCT program includes stripping old wax buildup down to the bare tile, applying multiple coats of high-durability commercial floor finish, and buffing to a high-gloss shine. Depending on traffic, most VCT floors need a full strip-and-wax cycle 2-4 times per year, with interim buff-and-recoat service between cycles.
We use commercial-grade auto-scrubbers, low-speed and high-speed burnishers, and chemical stripping systems that work efficiently without damaging the tile substrate. Our crews are trained to handle transitions between flooring types, work around immovable fixtures, and protect adjacent surfaces during the process.
Carpet care
Commercial carpet collects soil faster than any other surface and is the first thing to show neglect. Our carpet care program includes hot water extraction (deep steam cleaning), interim encapsulation cleaning for high-traffic lanes, spot treatment for stains, and pre-treatment for common problem areas like building entrances and cafeterias.
For properties on a maintenance program, we recommend extraction every 6-12 months with interim encapsulation every quarter. This extends carpet life by 40-60% compared to properties that only clean when the carpet looks dirty. By then the fiber damage is done.
Hardwood, marble, and natural stone
These premium surfaces require specialized care. Hardwood floors need periodic screening, refinishing, and recoating with commercial-grade polyurethane. Marble and natural stone require diamond honing to remove etching and scratches, followed by crystallization or polishing to restore the factory finish. We also apply penetrating sealers to protect against staining.
Concrete and industrial floors
Warehouse, distribution center, and industrial floors take a different kind of beating. Our industrial floor care includes power scrubbing, concrete polishing (up to 3000-grit mirror finish), epoxy repair and recoating, lane striping, and anti-slip coating applications. We can also apply concrete densifiers and sealers that harden the surface and reduce dusting.

How often should VCT floors be stripped and waxed?
It depends on traffic volume. High-traffic areas like main lobbies and corridors typically need a full strip-and-wax 3-4 times per year. Lower-traffic areas may only need it 1-2 times. We recommend interim buff-and-recoat service between full strip cycles to maintain appearance.
Can you do floor care after hours to avoid disruption?
